Monthly Kidz Klub begins Feb. 23
The Christian education team of Trinity Presbyterian Church announces the launch of Kidz Klub, a time of music, fun, games and pizza for children and youth of the church and the community. Kidz Klub will be held in the education building of the church from noon to 1 p.m. on Feb. 23, March 23, April 27 and May 18. In June, the church is planning Vacation Bible School around the musical, “It’s Cool In the Furnace,” a study of Daniel and his friends Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego. The church is located on 1200 Clover Hill Drive.
Expert shares advice on teens
Don’t miss this three-hour seminar with teen expert Mark Gregston as he shares vital information on how to not get blindsided by your child’s teen years from 2:30-5:30 p.m. Feb. 23 at Walnut Ridge Baptist Church, 1201 Texas 360. Tough Guys and Drama Queens provides parents (and grandparents!) of pre-teens and teens with time-tested, biblical techniques to guide you through these unavoidably challenging years. Gregston is founder and executive director of Heartlight, a residential counseling center of teens in Longview. He is the host of Parenting Today’s Teens, a daily and weekend radio program heard on 1,400 radio outlets across North America, helping parents navigate through turbulent waters of adolescence.

First Methodist offers DivorceCare
First Methodist Mansfield will offer DivorceCare, beginning at 6:30 p.m. Feb. 19. This 13-week class is for those who are going through a divorce, have recently been through a divorce or just need Christian support for any type of marriage separation.
DivorceCare for Kids (DC4K) is offered at the same time for the participant’s children, ages 6-12, giving them a place to share their feelings and heal (register for DC4K on the church website at firstmethodistmansfield.org). Women’s Ministry plans retreat
The Women’s Ministry of Mansfield Bible Church is planning a Women’s Retreat at the Riverbend Retreat Center in Glen Rose on March 21-22. Run to benefit developing countries
A Celebrate Children one-mile fun run and 5K will be held from 7-11:30 a.m. March 22 at Katherine Rose Memorial Park, 303 Walnut Creek Drive. This fun family-friendly event benefits Compassion International and their efforts to provide safe drinking water to children and their families within developing countries. A former Compassion-sponsored student, who once suffered from a lack of clean water, will also be attending and sharing his story.
Participants will be able to see filters and watch how they clean the contaminated water. Local businesses will also set up booths with interactive activities. Participants are encouraged to bring spare change within a water bottle for the Change for Hope drive. We invite families and friends of all ages to join us in celebrating our children and helping those in need!

St. Gregory’s forms Order of St. Luke
St. Gregory's will host a class, beginning Feb. 15, to establish a new chapter of the Order of St. Luke, which is open to all Christian denominations.
Members of the Order of St. Luke will grow through scriptural training, biblical Laying on of Hands and personal prayer. Members will also have an opportunity to join faith with that of other believers from many Christian traditions, The Order of St. Luke equips members to pray with those who are experiencing sickness, emotional distress and evil affecting their lives.
Classes for new and returning members will begin at 10 a.m. Feb. 15 in the parish hall at The Episcopal Church of St. Gregory the Great, 1091 Country Club Drive.
