Sports camps still on tap for summer athletes
The Northwest ISD sports camps are still on the calendar for the remaining weeks of summer. Both Byron Nelson and Northwest have camps available, with details as noted. Registration and more information is available at the Northwest ISD website’s Athletic Department pages. Walk-up registrations will be accepted.
Northwest Girls Basketball Camp
Grade: 3-9 Date: July 7-10 Time: 9 a.m.-noon Location: Texan Gym Cost: $75
Byron Nelson Volleyball Camp
Grade: 3-5 Date: July 21-24 Time: 9 a.m.-noon Location: Bobcat Gym Cost: $75
Northwest Wrestling Camp
Grade: 3-9 Date: July 14- 17 Time: 9 a.m.-noon Location: Texan Gym Cost: $75
Northwest Football Camp
Grade: 7-9 grade Date: Aug. 4- 7 Time: 8 a.m.-11 a.m. Location: NHS Indoor Facility Cost: $30
Byron Nelson Football Camp
Grade: 7-9 Date: Aug. 4-7 Time: 8 a.m.-11 a.m. Location: BNHS Indoor Facility Cost: $30
Keller Soccer Association registration now open
The Keller Soccer Association’s fall league registration is now open. More information and registration can be obtained at the organization’s website, www.kellersoccer.net. The office number is 817-431-6453.
Cost is $99 per player until July 10, with registration limited to electronic transactions only. The league is available to youth players who are four years of age by July 31, 2014 through age 18.
Kids summer sports camps still open at Keller Pointe
If a varied sports program is more in line with your child’s tastes, the Keller Pointe has numerous sports camps still available for the summer. For information and to register, contact The Keller Pointe at 817-743-4386 or email email@example.com.
Camps include Elementary Basketball, Dodgeball, Speed Sports and Flag Football Tech and run throughout July and August.
