April 5 - Byron Nelson High School PTSA presents the third annual taste and talent show, “The Links of Byron Nelson,” 6-8:30 p.m., at BNHS, 2775 Bobcat Blvd. in Trophy Club. As performers entertain, community members and restaurants offer a tour for the tastebuds. Tickets are $7 for adults and $5 for students. Proceeds will go towards programs and scholarships. April 9 – Trophy Club Police and Fire departments and other area police and fire departments honor the recipients of the nation’s highest military award, the Congressional Medal of Honor, by escorting medal winners from DFW Airport to Gainsville. The Patriot Guard Motorcycle Riders and individual motorcyclists assist with the escort. The procession travels west on SH 114, and the public is invited to line the highway to show respect and support. For details call 682-831-4600.
