The Roanoke Citizen’s Police Academy Alumni Association will host a charity dinner in support of the Roanoke Food Pantry 6:30 p.m., March 6 at the Trophy Club Country Club.

Proceeds from the event will go toward buying a new walk-in cooler and freezer for the pantry.

Roanoke Citizen’s Police Academy Alumni Association President Oren Zehner said the event will feature more than 100 guests for an evening of fine dining, live and silent auctions. A variety of sponsorship opportunities will be available.

The pantry is also accepting tax deductible donations for anyone who can’t attend.

Individual admission is $35 and tickets may be purchased through the city’s website.
