A 23-year-old man accused of driving while intoxicated and crashing into a car, killing two people early Sunday, has been identified.
Jose Salinas-Gomez was in the Forest Hill Jail on Sunday night after his sport utility vehicle collided with a car at the intersection of Hartman Road and Richard Street, Forest Hills police Capt. Jerry Cozby said.
One of the passengers has been identified. George Moon, 76, died on the road in the residential neighborhood at 3:32 a.m. of head injuries sustained in the crash, according to the Tarrant County medical examiner’s website.
A second passenger in the car was killed. The driver of the car and another passenger were injured, police said. Those two were taken to John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth.

Information on Salinas-Gomez’s charges and bail was not available Sunday night, Cozby said.
The name of the other victim had not been released Sunday evening.
