A black-and-white pot-bellied pig was found wandering the streets of Hurst early Tuesday.

Authorities hope its owner will take the 30-pound pig home.

Hurst animal control officers picked up the pig in the 1000 block of Calcutta Street after a resident called police.

The pig had a small laceration on its head.

Anyone with information about the pig is asked to call Hurst Animal Services at 817-788-7216.
