A motorcyclist was killed late Tuesday when he was hit by a vehicle after he wrecked his bike on Meacham Boulevard, police said Wednesday.
Gabriel Colon, 29, of Roanoke was pronounced dead at 11:29 p.m. Tuesday in the 2300 block of Meacham Boulevard, according to the Tarrant County medical examiner’s website. The wreck occurred about 11:15 p.m.
Three motorcycles were eastbound on Meacham Boulevard when two of the bikes lost control and wrecked, said Fort Worth police Capt. Scott Conn in an email Wednesday.
“One rider was struck by a vehicle traveling westbound,” Conn said. “The other rider was not seriously injured.”
No criminal charges had been filed against the driver as of Wednesday morning, Conn said, but traffic investigators were looking into the accident.
