Police have arrested a man accused of impersonating a pest exterminator to steal from elderly people and are trying to find out if there are other victims who have not called police.

Police received “several calls,” mostly from older residents of west Fort Worth, “that a man posed as a Terminix employee to gain entry into homes and steal valuables,” officer Sharron Neal said in a news release.

Police did not release the man’s name or booking photo. “More of the investigative process must take place before we are able to release his information,” Neal said.

Anyone with information is asked to call 817-335-4222. Callers should say that they are reporting information on the “Terminix impostor” to the West Criminal Investigations Unit, Neal said. — Bill Miller
