Man pulls cap over his eyes as he robs Fort Worth bank

The robber entered a Wells Fargo branch on South University Drive and announced, “This is a robbery, give me all of your money!” He then pulled a stocking cap down over the top of his face.

A robber who asked for money before pulling a stocking cap down over his eyes held up a bank Tuesday morning near Forest Park, police said.

The robbery was reported at 9:32 a.m. at the Wells Fargo branch in the 1600 block of South University Drive, Fort Worth police said in a news release.

“The suspect,” the release said, “entered the bank announcing ‘This is a robbery, give me all of your money!’ The suspect then pulled the stocking cap over the upper portion of his face.”

The man left the bank with a bag holding an undisclosed amount of money. He was last seen pedaling away on a silver bike northbound on Old University Drive, which branches off South University Drive across from University Park Village south of Interstate 30.

The man is white, 45 to 55 and about 6 feet 2. He wore a gray sweatshirt and bluejeans.
