Fort Worth police looking for man who robbed north-side credit union

Police are trying to identify a man seen on video surveillance who robbed a credit union Tuesday in northwest Fort Worth.

The robbery was reported at 2:20 p.m. at the EECU credit union, 301 NW 28th St.

The man handed the cashier a note and demanded money, police Cpl. Tracey Knight said in a news release.

No weapon was displayed, and no injuries were reported, Knight said.

The suspect was described as black, 18 to 22 years old and 180 to 200 pounds. He wore a white beanie, sunglasses, a bluish-green jacket and tan pants.

Anyone with information is asked to call 911, Crime Stoppers at 817-469-8477 or Fort Worth robbery detectives at 817-989-3330.

Callers can remain anonymous and could be eligible for a reward up to $1,000.
