Worshipping with cowboys
The Stock Show has been holding church services for a few years now and you’ve never been to a service, you’re missing out.
The preaching and singing is the polar opposite from trendy contemporary church services and you’ll see more jeans and boots than khakis and loafers.
The folks from Shepherd’s Valley Cowboy Church in Alvarado conduct Cowboy Church, which is at 9 a.m. Sunday in the Will Rogers Auditorium.
