A 24-year-old woman missing from Fort Worth since April 8 was located in a state hospital Thursday after her car was found in Dallas, authorities reported.
My Thi Hoang Bui was admitted to Terrell State Hospital with what appeared to be self-inflicted wounds, said Sgt. Steve Enright, a Fort Worth police spokesman.
Dallas police had contacted the Fort Worth police missing-persons unit Thursday after Bui’s 2008 Acura was found in a Wal-Mart parking lot.
It was not clear how Bui got to Terrell.
Bui was reported missing at 10:48 a.m. April 8 from the 2000 block of Mims Street, according to a police report. — Monica S. Nagy
