A 10-year-old child who was reported missing Sunday morning in west Fort Worth and was the object of a seven-hour police search may have only taken a stroll, according to media reports.
Kimora Moore was found at a fast-food restaurant more than a mile from the laundromat in the 8200 block of Calmont Avenue in west Fort Worth where she was last seen at about 10 a.m. Sunday, police reported.
She had told her mother she was going to the bathroom, according to KXAS/Channel 5. She was asking for a ride home at the restaurant.
WFAA’s Kevin Reece reported that her disappearance prompted a “massive police presence” that included checking at hotels and apartment complexes in the area south of Interstate 30.

Police said the girl did not appear to be abducted and was reunited with her mother, WFAA reported. Police were trying to figure out why she wandered away.
