Pedestrian killed in Lake Worth hit-and-run; search is on for suspect | Fort Worth Star-Telegram

Police are searching for a suspect who fatally struck a pedestrian in Lake Worth and fled the scene.

Wesley Kranz, 61, of Lake Worth, was walking across the road in the 5900 block of Jacksboro Highway about 11 p.m. Sunday when he was fatally struck by a vehicle, according to a Lake Worth Police Department news release.

The driver got away before authorities arrived.

Police are seeking more information about the incident, and anyone with information is asked to contact Lake Worth Detective H. Hamscher at 817-255-7937.
