A school bus carrying 33 high school students was rear-ended by a pickup at eastbound I-20 and McCart Avenue in Fort Worth at around 7:20 a.m. today, authorities said.
The students attended South Hills and Southwest high schools, officials at the scene said. Some of them, as well as two people in the pickup were treated for minor injuries and released.
Three students ages 17-18 were taken to Harris Methodist Fort Worth Hospital for minor back pain, MedStar spokesman Matt Zavadsky said. The rest were taken to school in the bus at about 9 a.m.
