Just like Tom Cruise in the 1980s classic, one Dallas man got into a little Risky Business of his own when he took his dad’s luxury Aston Martin out for a ride Friday.
Police said that the car was submerged into a creek that feeds into White Rock lake at the 3700 block of Lawther Drive when officers arrived on scene around 10:50 p.m.
According to a Facebook post by Southeast Dallas Police Scanner, the 20-year-old took the car, which belongs to his dad, without permission and while his dad was out of town.
Never miss a local story.
The driver was able to escape, unharmed, before officers arrived, a Dallas Police Department spokesman said.
The Dallas Police Dive Team was able to recover the car from the creek the next day.
According to Cars.com a new Aston Martin can cost anywhere from just under $100,000 to over $200,000.
Maybe in this real-life rendition of Risky Business, he didn’t turn the house into a brothel to raise money before his dad returned.
