Police investigating cause of fatal Arlington crash

Arlington police are investigating the cause of a fatal crash in Arlington early Saturday morning.
Officers were dispatched to a single-vehicle crash at about 2:15 a.m. at the 4600 block of U.S. Highway 287 south of Interstate 20. Officers found a deceased man, believed to be 40 years old, alone in the 1999 Dodge Durango.
The vehicle collided with a concrete pillar on the highway overpass. A reason for the crash is still being determined.
The Tarrant County Medical Examiner is working with city investigators to identify the man and notify family.
