High school volleyball
Arlington teams have only a little over two weeks’ worth of games until district competition begins.
Lamar and Martin begin their district run against each other at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 12 at Martin. On the same night and time, Weatherford hosts Arlington in those teams’ district opener, and Bowie will host Sam Houston.
Seguin hosts Waxahachie the same night at 5:30 to open district.
Registration runs through August for city youth T-ball, coach-pitch baseball, kid-pitch baseball and outdoor soccer leagues, and adult leagues for softball, kickball and flag football.
