A weeks-long mural project in east Arlington’s Park Plaza wrapped up Saturday and features work from 14 artists. The project was started to add beauty to an area filled with blank white walls and also features a piano for visitors to play. Every work of art was done for free without using city money, and some promote the artist’s city pride. Arlington artist Aaron Bickle said that the artists spent a lot of time perfecting their murals and that he was proud of seeing how they turned out as a whole. “A lot of us, even if we aren’t from Arlington, consider ourselves local and are happy to see that this has made some kind of impact,” he said.
