Bowie was the last team remaining in the playoffs but fell on Saturday to DeSoto 59-51 in the regional final.
David Chavlovich led the scoring with 12 points, and Kevin Hervey and Jordan Versey each had 10.
Bowie finished 28-6, going 12-2 in district and finishing second behind Martin, which was edged out of the playoffs last Monday by Richland.
With four games remaining at the start of the week, Martin looks to be the leading contender to take the District 3-5A crown, while Lamar and Arlington are in the running for postseason berths.
The Lady Warriors and Lady Vikings meet at 7:30 p.m. Friday at Martin in what will likely be the toughest game of district for both teams.
The Lady Colts were scheduled to take on Sam Houston on Tuesday and will host Fort Worth Paschal at 7:30 p.m. Friday.
The DFW Senior Softball association is looking for players 55 years and older to play on Arlington teams. Practices are at Randol Mill Park and Dunlap Park.
Spring leagues begin play April 1 at the Harold Patterson fields. Games are played Tuesday and Thursday mornings.
