An Arlington Police Department program will help Spanish-speaking residents in the city learn more about affordable healthcare.
Unidos is a quarterly meeting that is part of the Police Department’s ongoing effort to reach out to Spanish-speaking residents in the city. Meetings are conducted in Spanish and help residents with programs available to help them learn about their city.
Those who attend the meetings can use the program as a resource center for any information they need and to become more involved with the Police Department, city staff and more.
The next meeting will be Tuesday at Sam Houston High School, 2000 Sam Houston Drive, from 7 to 8 p.m. Other meetings are May 6, Aug. 5 and Dec. 2.
