Arlington Citizen-Journal Facebook photo cover contest

Submit a photo of what Arlington means to you for a chance to see your picture as the next Facebook cover photo for the Arlington Citizen-Journal page.

Everyone has a different perspective of Arlington. For some, it’s Rangers Ballpark, UT Arlington or Six Flags Over Texas. For others, it’s home. Submit a photo of what Arlington means to you and your picture could be the next Facebook cover photo for the Arlington Citizen-Journal page.

Here’s how to enter:

1. Get out your smartphones, tablets and cameras, and snap a photo that you feel best represents the city.

2. Submit an original photo in a jpeg format that’s no larger than 10 megabytes. Photos should already be cropped to fit the Facebook cover dimensions of 851 pixels wide and 315 pixels tall.

3. Attach the photo to an email with subject line “Arlington C-J Facebook Contest” and send to reporter Monica Nagy at mnagy@star-telegram.com. Include a brief description of the photo, a sentence that describes why you picked the photo, and list who took the photo and when and where the photo was taken. Include your name and phone number in case we have questions.

Deadline to submit a photo is 5 p.m. Jan. 31.

Check the Arlington Citizen-Journal Facebook page in January for Arlington news updates and to see if your photo is the winner.
