The Republican candidates vying for Tarrant District Clerk nearly came to blows during a meeting with the Star-Telegram Editorial Board on Monday. Several exchanges between Tom Wilder, the incumbent, and challenger Frank Palomino, grew so hostile that candidates had to be escorted from the building separately when the meeting ended. We're still checking out the charges launched by each. Here's what it looked like. UPDATE: Wilder is right. He and Charlene Rondeau married in October 1962, divorced for 10 months in 1972 and then remarried. (The new marriage license is listed as "Thos," which may be why Palomino's research didn't turn it up.)
