A 30-year-old Fort Worth man died after he was ejected from a pickup that crashed early Saturday morning on East Loop 820, a Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s report said.

Shamon Woods died from blunt force trauma, the report said.

Witnesses told police that Woods was driving north in the 5600 block of Loop 820 about 2:20 a.m. when his truck “struck a concrete guard rail, vaulted over the median and came to rest on its roof in the inside southbound shoulder,” said Fort Worth police spokesman Daniel Segura.
