For the eighth time this month, an earthquake has rattled North Texas.
A 2.8-magnitude quake was reported Saturday night near Springtown, and like dozens of the other small quakes in the area in recent weeks, there were no reports of damage or injuries.
The most recent earthquake was reported at 10:54 p.m. Saturday about a mile south-southwest of Springtown, according to the U.S. Geological Survey website.
Since Nov. 1, more than two dozen minor temblors have been reported in North Texas, the strongest a 3.7-magnitude quake Dec. 9 north-northeast of Mineral Wells.
