Buttons restaurant moves offices to Austin Plaza building

Also, Eastchase Market has been sold to a Phoenix-based real estate investment company.

Buttons, a popular North Texas soul food and jazz restaurant, has moved its catering and sales office to Austin Plaza at 2401 Scott Ave. in Fort Worth.

The company has leased 1,200 square feet of space, making it the largest tenant in the office building, the landlord said.

Buttons was launched in 2008 and is famous for its Southern comfort food. It has locations in Fort Worth and Addison. Herbert Hughes is president of Buttons Management.

The 16,000-square-foot Austin Plaza is owned by Fort Worth real estate investor Jim Austin and East Side Real Estate LLC.

Eastchase Market sold

Eastchase Market, a shopping center at Interstate 30 and Eastchase Parkway, was sold Dec. 9 to Phoenix-based Cole Real Estate Investments, deed records show.

The property was sold by Columbus Pacific Properties and Equity Alliance Fund, which has owned the center since 2006. The sale included 265,097 square feet that are leased to Ross, Marshall’s, Spec’s, Office Depot, Dollar Tree, Burke’s Outlet and AMC Theatres.

Many of the other retailers own their properties. The center sits on nearly 29 acres on the west side of Eastchase Parkway between Ederville Road and I-30.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Arlington garden offices sold

Joseph E. Briggs & Associates has bought a two-building garden-office complex on West Park Row Drive in Arlington from A. Fitzgerald Properties.

The buildings total 8,277 square feet and are at 3603 W. Park Row Drive. The property, developed by the late Harold T. Fitzgerald, was 82 percent leased at the time of the sale.

Casey Tounget of SCM Real Estate Services negotiated the deal.

1610 111th St., Grand Prairie

Trident Commercial Partners III bought a 20,150-square-foot industrial building from Grand Prairie Ventures. Mark Graybill of Lee & Associates represented the buyer. The seller was represented in house by Sarah Hart.

500 N. Carroll Ave., Southlake

The Mundheim Firm has leased 1,538 square feet of office space at Panorama Place. LeAnn Brown of Silver Oak Commercial Realty represented the landlord. Paul Blight of Glacier Commercial Realty represented the tenant.

420 N. Carroll Ave., Southlake

Impression Homes has leased 2,054 square feet of office space at Flagstaff Court. LeAnn Brown of Silver Oak Commercial Realty represented the landlord. Paul Blight of Glacier Commercial Realty represented the tenant.

8416 Denton Highway, Watauga

Uptown Cheapskate has leased 3,600 square feet in the Watauga Towne Center. Amy Nott of CBRE represented the tenant. Robin Borrow of the Weitzman Group represented SCI Watauga Towne Center Fund.
