A truck driver was arrested Monday morning after leading Mansfield police officers on a low-speed chase that ended in Arlington.
The pursuit began around 10:30 a.m. along U.S. 287 in Mansfield after the truck driver refused to stop for a commercial vehicle check and ended about 11 a.m. on Interstate 20 in Arlington, said Mansfield police spokesman Thad Penkala.
“The officers followed him several miles,” Penkala said. “The driver was taken into custody and to Mansfield Jail.”
He was arrested for evading arrest, Penkala said.
