The daily STEW (Star-Telegram Editorial Writers): The American Postal Workers Union is taking the Postal Service to task, claiming that cutbacks have led to daily delays in mail processing, which makes the carriers late in delivering mail to homes. Have you noticed late mail delivery recently? Is it a problem?
My mail now comes extremely late in the day. In fact, usually it’s early evening. Also I’m sure that my mail isn’t being delivered every day. Bill Downs

Ours doesn’t come until after 4:30 p.m. every day, often later. Yesterday it was delivered after 6:00 p.m. I am very uncomfortable with mail being delivered that late, as our mailboxes are located curbside.

I strongly suspect attacks on the USPS originate from commercial interests that would privatize or eliminate it. Micah Dimarz
It is a big problem for me since I have to depend on people to pick up my mail, as I unable to walk to the curb. I am wondering if they bother to sort the mail well. I am always getting someone else’s mail. Darlene Cathman
