About five protesters were arrested Tuesday night by Dallas police after marching on Interstate 35E near downtown and refusing to leave.
About 200 protesters gathered outside the police department headquarters Tuesday night and then marched north on Lamar Street into downtown Dallas, eventually marching onto the interstate.
Police closed northbound lanes of I-35E near Commerce as protesters sat down on the road. Just after 10 p.m. police were seen arresting those who refused to leave, using zip ties as handcuffs. Story on WFAA.com
