Robbery detectives and a SWAT team followed a tip to arrest three suspects in the shooting early Monday of a game room employee in northeast Fort Worth, police said Wednesday.
A fourth suspect was still being sought Wednesday afternoon. Patrick Anthony Sotelo, 18, was last seen “in the area of Daymist Drive” of Everman, Fort Worth police said in a news release.
“That suspect is believed armed and dangerous,” the news release said.
The other men, all from Fort Worth, were being held Wednesday in the Mansfield Jail.
Aloysius Joe Salas, 26; Kirk Sandifer, 21; and Pedro Angel Sotelo, 20, face charges of aggravated robbery. Bail was set at $100,000 each, according to jail records.
The shooting was reported about 3:10 a.m. Monday at the Asian Market game room, 3835 Chesser Boyer Road, off North Beach Street in Fort Worth on the Haltom City border, police said.
An employee was confronted by robbers, and investigators think he was shot with a .357 Magnum revolver that had been stolen about 2:30 a.m. at Lenah’s Smoke Shop, 5169 Wichita St., in southeast Fort Worth.
The employee remained hospitalized Wednesday, police said.
Officers located the suspects with help from a tip from someone who saw news reports, said Cpl. Tracey Knight, a police spokeswoman.
Earlier reports indicated that three robbers were being sought. It was unclear Wednesday when a fourth was added to the list.
“All I have right now is a tipster gave additional information,” Knight said.
Sandifer was also in jail on traffic warrants including for driving without a license, no insurance and expired registration and inspection. Combined bail for those was $182.
A police report said officers impounded a white 2001 Lincoln Continental.
Patrick Sotelo is 5 feet 8 and about 140 pounds. He has tattoos on the side of his head and right forearm, police said.
This report includes material from the Star-Telegram archives.
