The mystery of the wandering pot-bellied pig is over.
Police say Molly got out of a backyard Tuesday and was roaming near a street when she was found.
A resident was pigsitting Molly when the 30-pound mammal made her way out of a backyard.
Molly was at a veterinarian’s office on Wednesday being treated for lacerations to her head and neck, suffered when she was attacked by a dog.
Hurst animal control officers picked up the pig shortly after 4 a.m. Tuesday in the 1000 block of Calcutta Street after a resident called police.
Molly was kept at the city’s animal services facility for most of Tuesday, and then she was taken to the veterinarian.
