Monday is the last day to send in your fun and funny summer camp memories. Whether you attended summer camp last year or 40 years ago, if you’ve got a humorous tale, we’d like to consider printing it in Life & Arts on March 20, the day our annual guide to summer camps and classes publishes.
Email your story to us in 200 or fewer words. Be sure to include the name and location of your summer camp and the year the story took place. And keep the stories suitable for printing in a family newspaper, please!
In your letter, also include your name, age, city of residence and phone number.
One story per person, please. One high-resolution photo (at least 200 dpi or better, if scanned) may be attached.
Never miss a local story.
If we choose to print your story, we will contact you for more information and will edit the text. We may ask to photograph you as well.
By submitting a story, you agree to have your name published in the Star-Telegram, on its websites and on social media accounts.
Send your email to firstname.lastname@example.org with “Summer camp memories” in the subject line.
Deadline for submissions is 5 p.m.
