Paper may be taken from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. to Greenstar Fort Worth, 1100 NE 23rd St. "We hear stories every day about the dangers of identity theft by people who rifle through the personal papers that residents throw out in their garbage," city Environmental Director Brian Boerner said. "This is a secure and convenient alternative solution for getting rid of those papers." To participate, residents must show proof that they live in Fort Worth. The limit is five 50-pound boxes of paper. About 500 people recycled 2 tons of paper last year during the event, which is on Texas Recycles Day.
