Possibly the only shakes, rattles and rolls being felt from the recent Cleburne earthquakes are from the cash register at The Comic Boxx, which is selling "I Survived The Cleburne Quakes 2009" T-shirts.
Cleburne was rattled for the seventh time this year early Friday. The city had six quakes in June. "A lot of people are looking at the humor of it since nothing bad has happened," said Jeannie Savell, who with her husband, Dennis, owns The Comic Boxx on East Henderson Street near the Johnson County Courthouse. The epicenter of Friday’s magnitude-2.0 tremor was about four miles east of Cleburne and 27 miles from Fort Worth, the U.S. Geological Survey reported. "It continues to be not so much a concern for citizens but more of a curiosity," Cleburne Mayor Ted Reynolds said Friday.City officials have been working with researchers from Southern Methodist University to determine why the area has suddenly had a series of quakes. — Elizabeth Zavala
