We have so many blessings to be thankful for. This year we are most thankful for the brave men and women who have fought to keep our country free, those fighting now to keep us safe, and their families who have sacrificed holidays with their loved ones – to say the least. I wish I could send part of our Thanksgiving meal to my nephew in Afghanistan, but we’ll have another Thanksgiving for him when he returns. Given all our blessings, there’s nothing wrong with celebrating more than once a year.

Just call me Grace. It’s finally fall and I welcomed it with a fall of my own on a slippery, wet concrete floor. With my dominant hand in a splint, it’s been difficult to cook this week.
