Arlington council incumbents on road to return

ARLINGTON – It appears that Arlington City Council incumbents will get to keep their seats.

In early voting totals, Mayor Robert Cluck had an big lead over his four challengers with 64.6 percent of the vote.

The closest race is District 5, where incumbent Lana Wolff had 54 percent of the early vote and her closest challenger, attorney Terry Meza, had nearly 30 percent of the vote. Pilot Michael Driscoll, a third challenger for the east central Arlington seat, won 15.34 percent of the vote.

District 3 incumbent Robert Rivera, who represents southeast Arlington, and District 4 incumbent Kathryn Wilemon, who represents west Arlington, had huge leads over their challengers.

At-large District 8 incumbent Gene Patrick ran unopposed.
