The North Texas Super Bowl Host Committee is looking for a few companies and individuals to fork over $1 million each to help pay for the big game.

At a news conference Monday at the new Cowboys stadium in Arlington, the committee said it already has four of the 15 "founding sponsors" that it needs to fund half of its $30 million budget. Super Bowl XLV will be played in Arlington on Feb. 6, 2011.

"This is really going to be the coming-out party for North Texas," said Ross Perot Jr., who is heading the fundraising efforts for the committee and whose real estate company, Hillwood, was one of the four sponsors named Monday.

"A lot of consumer products companies are going to want to have their brand tied to the biggest event we've ever had in North Texas. And if we do it well, this will be the first of many Super Bowls that we can have," he said.

The committee's budget will be used to pay for public safety, transportation and other operating expenses.

Other founding sponsors include:

Staubach & Co., owned by Roger Staubach, the committee's chairman

Dallas Convention & Visitors Bureau

Ted and Shannon Skokos, a Dallas lawyer and his wife.
