SOUTHLAKE -- Police continued their search Monday for two men wearing Spiderman masks accused of taking an undisclosed amount of money from a bank on Friday.

Authorities released a photo of a dark blue or purple mini-van that was used by the web-slingers to get away on Friday morning. The photo was from a bank surveillance camera.

The holdup happened about 9:30 a.m. Friday at the Bank of America in the 2000 block of W. Southlake Boulevard.

Bank employees told police that two armed men walked in, demanded money and took the money from a teller. The money was placed in a bag that the Spidermen had brought in with them, police said.

The men ran out to the mini-van and drove away, police said. A rear passenger window on the mini-van was broken out and it was covered by a red tarp or blanket, police said.

Anyone with information should contact Southlake police at 817-748-8127 or the FBI.
