The most exclusive event of the inaugural Fort Worth Food + Wine Festival, Tastes of the World, took place March 29 at Bass Hall. Guests were treated to a multicourse lunch prepared by chefs Stephan Pyles and Jon Bonnell and served on the concert hall stage. Emcee Quentin McGown explained the culinary roots of each dish, and master sommelier Guy Stout introduced pairings of rare wines. Guests also enjoyed entertainment provided by Fort Worth Opera, the Cliburn, and Texas Boys Choir, and a fashion show by designer Shawn D. Florence.
