Interested in getting the most out of your short staycation? Located on the shores of Lake Grapevine, the Gaylord Texan Resort is packed with a variety of luxurious accommodations, including an award-winning spa, beautiful indoor gardens and its own nightclub.
In honor of the summer season, the resort is kicking it up a notch with its ongoing Summer Bash event. Running until Labor Day, the event features family-friendly entertainment, culinary classes, dining specials and outdoor happenings at the resort’s 10-acre pool and lazy river playground.
The Ritz-Carlton, Dallas

The Omni Fort Worth Hotel is celebrating its fifth anniversary with a special Plead the Fifth package. Perfect for a weekend escape with friends, the hotel offers the package in guy and girl versions. For the girls, the package includes mani/pedi treatments at Mokara Spa, $100 dinner credit at Bob’s Steak & Chop House, a wine tasting at Wine Thief and daily breakfast. A favorite destination for family vacations, Great Wolf Lodge in Grapevine boasts a variety of fun attractions, including a water park, kids’ spa and arcade. Outside, guests find themselves just minutes away from family-friendly hot spots like Grapevine Mills Mall and the Legoland Discovery Center.
Great Wolf is offering two promotions that are valid until the end of August. The Summer Savings promotion saves guests up to 15 percent on two or more nights when using the promo code SAVINGS.
