The camouflage-inspired treat is a mixture of pistachio almond, milk chocolate and cream cheese.
The Brenham-based company wanted to have “a little fun with this flavor,” Carl Breed, director of marketing for Blue Bell, said in a news release. “You see the camo design on everything these days, so we thought why not create an ice cream flavor that looks camouflage?”

It’s been less than a year since Blue Bell ice cream returned to shelves following a seven-month hiatus after a listeria crisis.
The newest flavor may be hard to spot in stores, not necessarily because of its hue. Camo ‘n Cream is available in limited quantities in the half gallon and pint sizes.
