A Flower Mound man has been arrested on suspicion that he tattooed a 14-year-old Parker County girl, which is against the law, even though the teen's mother had given permission, Parker County authorities said
The teen's mother also was arrested on charges that she allowed it.
Parker County Sheriff's Department officials identified the man as Brian Lee Sporn, 39. He was arrested Friday morning and released that afternoon after posting $2,000 bail.
He is expected to be charged with one count of performing tattoos prohibited for certain persons.

The teen's mother, Lydie Krenzke Mathers, 31, of Springtown, was arrested Thursday. She was released Friday after posting $4,000 bail.
Mathers faces two counts of obtaining tattoos prohibited for certain persons.
According to investigation reports, the 14-year-old has three tattoos.
"I read the law and as a parent I thought I could allow her to do it," Mathers said Sunday.
Mathers said she drew two of the tattoos on her daughter during the summer. One is of a heart with wings symbolizing that her daughter is a shaken baby survivor. That one is on her daughter's side. The other is an open heart Care Bear with a tail. That one is on her hip.
The third is the letters SS on her daughter's leg. Mathers said Sporn, her fiancee, drew it during the summer.
"You can hardly see it," Mathers said.
Sporn could not be reached Sunday.
State law prohibits a tattoo on a person younger than 18 years old. In certain circumstances, a tattoo artist may tattoo a person younger than 18 to cover obscene language, gang-related names or drug-related names, according to Texas law.
The charges are Class B misdemeanors. If convicted, the two face a maximum of 180 days in jail and a $2,500 fine.
An anonymous tip initiated an investigation, according to a Parker County Sheriff's Department news release.
Investigators determined that Sporn knew that he was putting a tattoo on a juvenile, and the tattooing of the child was not performed in a licensed facility.
