Santa PAWS holiday party
Join the four-legged friends from the PAWS Reading program for a special event including stories, songs, snacks and a movie. Attendees are encouraged to donate food or toys for the cats and dogs spending this winter at the Irving Animal Care Campus. The program is part of the READ (Reading Education Assistance Dogs) initiative that gives children a chance to read to a furry friend and practice their comprehension skills in a fun, nonjudgmental and interactive environment.

A Country Christmas
Country Critters Farm is ready to show you and your family what a country Christmas is like. Activities include bounce houses, tractor and train playgrounds, a pony ride, a mule train ride, a hayride and caroling, a petting zoo and an awesome candy-cane maze. Kids can make a Christmas craft, listen to story time with Mrs. Claus, and visit Santa on his sleigh. Gates close at 4 p.m. both days.

Holiday at the market
Go to downtown Dallas to see Santa and help out in his workshop. You will find stocking activities, coloring books, letters to Santa, reindeer herding and children's Christmas movies. All while listening to the soulful sounds of David Carr Jr. Also, Dallas Farmers Market vendors will be selling fruit and veggies as always, 8 a.m.-6 p.m.
