Never miss a local story.
What it's about: Edward is a bunny that loves STUFF. What kind of stuff? Well, he likes calendars, fish bowls, scuba gear, bowling balls, fish heads, clocks, etc. In short, if it's junk, Edward likes it. But stuff gets him into trouble, and he ends up ridding himself of his superfluous obsessions and finds happiness with his friends.
Why read it: This book is an excellent anti-hoarding story. If your child is obsessed with possessions, as many are, this may be the perfect read. Little Eddie learns the hard way that material goods in excess can be harmful: It's a worthy lesson for bunnies and people of all ages. To top it all off, the illustrations are just so darn cute. Jones' scrawling lines and vibrant colors make even piles of junk look adorable and charming.
