A teen suspected of driving while under the influence of alcohol was in the Tarrant County jail Tuesday facing a charge of intoxication manslaughter in the death of a motorcyclist in a wreck near Keller.
Cristan Jerri Melancon, 18, of Keller, was arrested at the scene of the wreck at Wall Price Road and Concho Circle near Keller about 12:30 a.m.
Jason Wakeford, 30, died at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth shortly afterward. A candlelight vigil for Wakeford is scheduled for 9 tonight near the wreck site.
Bond for Melancon was set at $20,000, the Tarrant County jail website showed.

Wakeford was westbound on Wall Price Road and collided with Melancon's Jeep, which had just pulled onto the road, said Terry Grisham, a spokesman with the Tarrant County Sheriff's Department.
According to sheriff's department reports, Melancon was not injured nor was an 18-year-old female passenger in the Jeep.
