A 28-year-old man has been accused of capital murder in the deaths of his two sons, ages 2 years and 6 months, who were found dead early Thursday, Graham police reported.
After a relative asked authorities to check on the children, police officers, Texas Rangers, state game wardens and Young County sheriff's deputies started looking for the children and their father about 6:30 p.m. Wednesday.
The bodies were found about 10 hours later, according to a police news release.
Gabriel Armandariz was arrested early Thursday, said trooper Tony Fulton of the Texas Department of Public Safety. His bail was set at $1.5 million, and he remained in the Young County Jail in Graham late Thursday.
Graham is about 90 miles northwest of Fort Worth.
City Manager Larry Fields said he was told that Armandariz had moved to the city last week.
