Fort Worth residents may put out up to two extra 30-gallon (40-pound) garbage bags for regular pickup the week of Dec. 27.
Fort Worth T buses, the Trinity Railway Express, Molly the Trolley and mobility-impaired transit service run on a reduced schedule today. Bus service will end after the 7:15 p.m. departures from downtown Fort Worth.
No transit services on Saturday.

These groups are serving or providing Christmas meals Saturday to the homeless or needy families.
Union Gospel Mission of Tarrant County
Christmas dinner will be served after a chapel service at 11:30 a.m. at the shelter, 1321 E. Lancaster Ave., Fort Worth. Guests will get a ticket for a gift.
Christian Center of Fort Worth
Christmas dinner will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the church, 4301 NE 28th St., Haltom City. Gifts will be provided to children ages 18 and younger, and the first 500 families will get groceries.
Salvation Army DFW Command
Christmas meals will be provided from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at area homeless shelters: 1855 E. Lancaster Ave., Fort Worth; 1508 E. McKinney St., Denton; 5302 Harry Hines Blvd., Dallas.
St. Matthew Catholic Church
Christmas food, decorated trees and games will be provided from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. 2021 New York Ave., Arlington
Most municipal golf courses are open today and Sunday and closed Saturday.
Fort Worth's libraries and community centers are closed today, Saturday and Sunday.
Arlington's libraries are closed today and Saturday and open Monday.
Arlington's Elzie Odom, Hugh Smith, Dottie Lynn and Cliff Nelson recreation centers are open until 3 p.m. today and regular hours Monday, but other centers are closed. Hugh Smith Indoor Pool is open Monday. All centers are closed Saturday.
The Adoption Center in PetSmart at Hulen and Interstate 20 is open 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. today, with special adoption rates: $24 for dogs, $12 for cats, including vaccination, city license and ID microchip. All adoptable pets have been spayed or neutered.
The Fort Worth Herd takes the afternoon off today and stays in the barn all day Saturday.
