A Fort Worth man was arrested on suspicion of DWI after striking a parked Fort Worth patrol car and injuring a police officer Sunday afternoon.

Investigators say Demarquis Gray, 25, struck Officer K. Davis' patrol car in the 1400 block of East Loop 820 in the northbound lane about 2:45 p.m. Sunday.

Davis was sitting in the patrol car with all emergency lights activated as officers were diverting traffic from another accident, a police report stated.

Davis was taken to Harris Methodist Hospital. His injuries are not considered life-threatening.
