In Fort Worth, you know it's Halloween when the Fort Worth Zoo sets up its annual family fun fest, Boo at the Zoo. And here we are -- this is the first of Boo at the Zoo's two weekends.
Heads-up, though: This year some things have changed. There will be many of the things you expect at Boo at the Zoo: carnival rides, treat stations, and lots of animals to ooh and aah over. But Boo at the Zoo is a daytime diversion now, offering Halloween fun in broad daylight. And it's set up in the zoo's special events area, Chesapeake Pavilions.
Note: You don't have to buy tickets in advance anymore; simply pay your $3 extra admission at the Boo at the Zoo entrance. And don't forget that zoo parking is $5.
