Southlake detectives have closed an investigation of an alleged sexual assault at Carroll Senior High School in May involving students.
No one was arrested in the case, said Southlake police Sgt. Michael Bedrich on Monday.
“There was no physical evidence to support a criminal violation,” Bedrich said.
Investigators based their decision on lab results and interviews with several students and adults. Bedrich declined to comment on details of lab results.
Police began an investigation in May after a parent reported that a student was sexually assaulted during school hours by another student.
The offense allegedly happened on May 10 at the school, 1501 W. Southlake Blvd. in Southlake.
“It only took time to reach a decision because we had to wait on lab results,” Bedrich said.
Southlake police alerted school officials shortly after they received the report.
